He also holds a certification in Public Government through Michigan Attorney General’s Pro-Bono SAAG program from October 2010. "I believe the best measure of a society is how it treats its most vulnerable citizens. Practicing disability law allows me to fight every day for people in need and get them the assistance they deserve"

Patrick is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Detroit Bar Association. Before joining Disability Attorneys of Michigan™, Mr. Cahill’s experience involved a range of cases, including juvenile justice, criminal law, collections, probate, no-fault auto claims, and appellate work. He has written countless appeals in child protection cases with a recently published decision adopting his argument to expand protections for victims of child abuse.

Patrick has volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Freedom House, Michigan Humane Society, and the Student Hurricane Relief Network in New Orleans, Louisiana. His strong sense of care and compassion towards his clients is matched by his commitment to providing sincere counsel, working hard to achieve a successful and fair outcome.
