Stuart S. Johnson is a retired attorney who devoted his legal career to representing disabled adults and children in their pursuit of Social Security benefits. Inspired early on by his mother’s work as a pre-primary special education teacher, Mr. Johnson developed a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by individuals with physical and emotional disabilities. That foundation shaped his lifelong commitment to disability advocacy.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Johnson concentrated his practice in disability law, representing clients throughout Michigan in Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income matters. He founded Disability Attorneys of Michigan and led the firm for many years, building a dedicated team of attorneys committed to serving disabled individuals across the state.
Mr. Johnson is now retired from active practice and from Disability Attorneys of Michigan, concluding a distinguished career marked by advocacy, leadership, and service to Michigan’s disabled community.
