In Loving Memory of Daniel Dzierbicki

(1986 – 2020)

Daniel Dzierbicki was a beloved colleague and an integral member of the Disability Attorneys of Michigan family. He worked at the firm for 11 years in various roles, where he became an expert on Social Security Disability. Daniel was passionate about helping those in need to receive the benefits they deserve, and this dedication shined in everything he did.

Throughout his time at the firm, he was inspired to become a lawyer. He was determined and worked hard to achieve his dreams, and became the definition of perseverance.

Daniel attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. After years of hard work and determination, in November of 2019, Daniel passed the bar exam and was sworn in as a lawyer. This was an especially proud day for Daniel, his friends, family and colleagues.

During Daniel’s time as an attorney, he helped change his clients’ lives and demonstrated his skills as an attorney, as well as his compassion and warmth. Co-workers, friends and classmates remember Daniel fondly for being incredibly kind, funny, smart, and friendly, with a big heart and an infectious laugh. He was also an avid Michigan sports fan who loved attending games and rooting for his favorite teams.

Tragically, Daniel’s life was cut short, at the age of 33. Daniel had a bright future ahead of him, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, and always will be.

We are grateful for the time we had with Daniel, and we are lucky to have known him as a trusted friend and colleague. He will never be forgotten.

Rest in Peace, Daniel.
