I would recommend Disability Attorneys of Michigan to anyone thinking about applying for social security disability. The staff were so helpful during the 3 years it took social security to get to a hearing. My lawyer was great fielding the questions at the hearing to get me approved. Do to how long it took to get approved I have back pay pending.. and I have to give a huge thanks to Sarah, who continues to contact social security to try to get them to get me paid. She has been so great at keeping me updated on everything. Thank you to all the staff.. but a special thanks to Frank and Sarah!!

With my age being a factor with trying to be approved, my attorney, Dennis Little, was relentless at getting me approved. It has been a long 3 yrs but worth the wait. After two long years and two denials, I finally received my approval. Had I gone to DAM earlier, my approval may have been faster, I'm sure. But I am glad that I had Wes Lamey handling my case. His work was so efficient, the Judge's office commented on it in the beginning. That calmed my anxiety for the remainder of the call! I have been fighting to get SSI since 2018. I have been denied seven times I called Disability Attorneys of Michigan and they helped me put in my eighth application in 2022 I got denied, but they appealed for me and then got notice that I was going to have a hearing in front of the judge within a week of hearing from the judge. Started my case in February of 2021 with Samtha Ball , Patrica, and Andrea. All of them were great to work with and helped me get through denials that took over three years ! This wait was supposedly due to Covid. Had my court hearing on February 2024 and was finally approved. Now waiting on paperwork to go through from the state to start getting my disability Social Security. Again this had nothing to do with Disability Attorneys of Michigan.
